The hills, cliffs and mountains of Lanzarote provide the best flying opportunities in the world for early CP pilots to get a load of good quality flying - especially in January when the weather here in UK is so c**p! But even with out that comparison the flying to be had is excellent - unrivalled. BIG hills, even bigger landing field, warm weather and novice friendly winds. You can make huge progress here once you have completed your CP in the UK or indeed finish your CP if the weather has impeded your progress at home.

We stay in Luxury villas complete with private swimming pool right next to the landing field of one of the sites.

Plenty of alternative sports to try if the wind is too strong to fly, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, climbing, hiking etc.
Almost, guaranteed flying on very good soarable mountains with lots of thermal activity.

One of the great things about Lanzarote is enjoying the winter sunshine, an escape from the UKs winter gloom.
There is something for everybody in Lanzarote, from the quiet and remote older villages with a traditional Spanish lifestyle and pace, to the cosmopolitan, bustling night-club scene.
